I really want to get a great SLR to take high speed photography
Birth. Death. Joy. Chance encounters. Acceptance. Rejection. Love.
Our lives can be so different because of one thing.
One day we were/are living in London, another I will in Singapore. New York of course will always be my home though it’s obviously harder to get to from SE Asia. But I have to accept this change and make the most out of my situation. I see a new (and hopefully cool) job, adventures in the silk markets in Thailand, and some self-defense lessons. (If you really want me to tell you the story of the last part, I will later. It was really bizarre and a little scary.)

So own that change, make another change, and live your life looking forward.

Adjusting to new places is so hard for me. I find it amazing that you are able to travel so much and live in all these amazing places! – And you make it seem easy too!
So why the self defense classes? Nothing too scary I hope?
As for the dress I posted about, I’m seriously considering it, but I’m afraid to order it and then not have it look good on me. I need to look into their return policy. But I do LOVE that dress. =]

Oh, that is one scary story. I would have been a mess. Scary world we live in. I can’t believe no one came to your aid. We could all benefit from self-defence classes. I’m glad you and your husband weren’t hurt.
