Decor Thoughts: Chic Foliage inspired wallpaper

June 29, 2010

Wallpaper – exciting, interesting, and chic?

Well these days, definitely yes.  It’s a Chic ‘n Cheap option to layer a wall or two of a room in a striking shadowy print and can make a statement in any room from a living room to a child’s room.  A few of these examples are about $100 for 10 meters (width varies).  Sigh, I really wish I could change the walls of our apartment.  I’d actually love to use one of these prints for a child’s or guest room some day – I love the pop of the designs on the walls.

Beautiful! I feel you on the apartment living, though, It would be so nice to be able to do what I want with our walls, but I don’t think we’ll own anytime soon as long as we stay in San Francisco. I’m not going to fork over $1.3 million for a fixer-upper.

I’ve never been hugely into the idea of wallpaper, but I can definitely get behind these! Unfortunately we can’t put anything up like it because we rent. I’ve just been using the stickable wall decals over paint. 🙂

def would do it in pieces – like one wall or in a small room. don’t wanna over do it!

I normally wouldn’t consider myself a wallpaper person, but I love that first B&W jungle picture. What a wonderful idea the woman is!

I would definitely do this if we owned our apartment. I especially love the third one!
