For my crafty friends, that familiar mecca of DIY loveliness, Michaels, has a 50% off coupon expiring Saturday. I would have loved to use this coupon for some enamel or chalkboard paint. There are all these random home decor projects floating around in my head. Alas, I’m currently 9000 miles away so it’s not going to happen for me.

I love those coupons — save for the fact that you can’t use them on something that is already on sale. This is often a problem.
I think taking a self defense class is a really great idea. Every woman should. I have not. But I should.
