There is an unwritten rule somewhere that warmer weather brings on more colorful outfits (ok I couldn’t resist doing the multi-colored font).
I’d like to dispel the myth that NYC is an all black wearing town – just walk around midtown and you’ll see pops of color here and there. But now that I live in the land of perpetual summer, I rarely see all black outfits (it’s simply too warm here). I simply have more of an inclination to wear prints, patterns, and rich colors. It’s not just colorful, it’s more carefree as well.
These colorful pieces brought a smile to my face.

I will admit I’m a mostly black wearing girl but I’ve been incorporating color into my wardrobe over the past few years- I’m trying! I love those heels, they’re so fun!

I wear colour year round, but I think jewel tones are more fall than summer. Not sure why but I’ve just never been someone scared of colour–or big jewelry lol!
Ummmmmm… those colorful heels? I want every color! Now I just have to decide which color[s] to buy!

The first dress is beautiful, and I love the candy-colored shoes. I always try to include colorful touches to my outfits, even during the winter. Plus, I happily wear my turquoise jewelry all year! 🙂

i try to incorporate a lot of color in my wardrobe all year round. though i know i was sticking to black and gray this past winter. i won’t let that happen again 🙂

So true. I used to live in black year-round, but now that I live i Greece, I can’t bring myself to do it. I am def. dressing much more colorfully than I ever have!
