Decor Thoughts: Beyond wallpaper – unique wall art

October 20, 2010

By now, you’ve seen that I like atypical wall art, whether it be foliage inspired wallpaper, a floral background, or post-it art.  I saw a few new examples that are now on my wish list…

….Jason Wu’s newspaper wall

I kept thinking “oh, the newspaper is my favorite!” “No! The patterned panels!” “No! The photo!” Seriously, all too good. But, could you imagine how much of a pain it would be to keep the textured wall dust-free?

I love the newspapers and the EAT best! Today I saw a post where someone had disassembled a book and used the pages as wallpaper…I don’t know if I could do it, but it sure looked interesting!

First one is my fav! It’s just adorable!

  • Issysue October 23, 2010 at 03:24

I made an awesome accent wall by papering it with wrapping paper. Seriously. It was a really lovely damask pattern in green and it looks great. It was a labour of love, but so worth it.
