Black and white are an undeniably elegant pairing. I love the different ways they can work in a room. I’ve mentioned my inability to paint our white walls – but I can definitely play with our decor colors by working in color in different ways.
If I could play with the walls themselves, these would be my top options.
Or I could mix and match the furniture
Or incorporate other accents on the walls (this reminds me to frame more pictures!)

i don’t think my husband would go for all out black and white but i love the idea of using them as a base for popping a third color.

A very fitting post, as I am just re-doing my powder room in black and white. I am installing wainscoting and a chair rail, and painting them out in white to match my trim. Then going in with black paint for the walls. A white oversized ornate mirror, and a white Blik chandelier wall decal. Adding sparkly silver accessories and hardware, and plush linens in grey and white.

Oh how I adore black and white. My living room and bedroom are black and white, and one of my bathrooms is black white and red.
