How is it that Slim Aarons so perfectly captures the life I lead now with photos that are decades old? I guess this just means pool parties and chic gatherings are timeless!
I had a truly fabulous time at my belated birthday barbecue gathering. I was a little stressed out preparing all the food, but loved the results. I just love any excuse to gather my friends from different crowds, have them meet each other, and provide everyone with some tasty eats and drinks. We were able to book the grills closest to the pool so though no one took a dip, they definitely had the option! Mr. Spend ‘n Chomp was also happy that several people commended his chill but head bop worthy playlist. It was a lovely, casual affair replete with guacamole, chocolate fudge cake, and champagne.
Food + friends + good music = a fabulous party

last party, we had a pj night, and we had friends we ‘lost’, friends we seldom catch up with and new friends whom we have never met. At the end of the party, and through this year, we had maintained contact with most of them and became closer than ever. that was why it was fabulous!
Your party sounds beyond fabulous and in the region of being marvelous! I love the menu you had, mmm cake. My last party was made wonderful by my friends and many, many pitchers of Long Island Iced Tea haha!
