{Guest Post} Savvy vs. Splurge finds from Couture Carrie

February 23, 2011

Shopping is a constant balancing act as one contemplates “Is this item worth the closet space and/or funds?!” ย While there are some items for which one may find worthy savvy selections (e.g. Cetaphil cleanser is always one of my savvy beauty finds), there are others that are worth the splurge (Chanel reissue 2.55 purse anyone?)
The ever fabulous Couture Carrie has come up with her own fashionable Savvy vs. Splurge shopping list. ย Shop along and think – what is on your Savvy vs. Splurge list?

  • lisa February 23, 2011 at 08:55

omg i think about this everyday!!!

i wear target clothes on an almost daily basis.. but i wear them with my chanel bags and louboutins bahahaha.. i’ve actually been approached by ppl to ask if my dress/shirt are from chanel.. and i giggle and say they’re from target/forever21/h&m/zara

i really love your blog.. i’m a new follower and would love for you to visit and follow me too!

i wish i liked the saavy choices better than the splurge. but alas, that is not the case. i guess tihs is why the moment i walk into zara, mango, etc. i naturally gravitate to the most expensive item in the store. it is not good.
