Our bare home study has caused me to ponder a redo. I came across the following home studies and oh, these would be lovely in a larger home some day!

Eclectic with just the essentials (funny how Scotch is an essential in this study!) via Jamie Drake
Contemporary and minimal via Amanda Moore
Or embrace whimsy and patterns like Anna Sui (can you imagine that peacock in your home?!)
Comfort and style reign in this study by Jeffrey Alan Marks
I’d probably go with the open space of the first Bunny Williams study with a funky touch a la Anna Sui. My husband can read anywhere so the last room would be his ideal.

i think my ideal study would be an old school library-esque feel. Dark, rich woods with large bookshelves and a big comfy chair in the corner.

I love the Anna Sui room – minus the peacock. It reminds me too much of the stuffed pheasant one of my co-workers has in his office. I swear that thing stares at me!
Love the Bunny Williams as well and the last would be a fabulously cozy spot to curl up with a book!!
I think I like the first one, but my boyfriend would also definitely prefer the last. Funny story, by the way, I once dated a guy whose family had a peacock- though they kept it outside. It was fun to wake up, have coffee on the patio, and watch the peacock spread it’s feathers! 🙂

I would take any of these offices. Mine is shared with the kids and it is a total mess.
the peacock is very pretty but no practical at all. imagine having to pick up bird poop. hahaha.
