Fun Finds/Decor Thoughts: Wasara minimalist and beautiful disposable dinnerware

June 8, 2011

Minimalist.  Fluid lines.   Beautiful.

These aren’t normally words you’d use to describe dinnerware, especially disposable dinnerware.  But Wasara combines form and functionality in a gorgeous line of paper dinnerware (actually combined with bamboo, sugarcane pulp, and reed) with materials designed to minimize its environmental impact.
What a fun and chic way to entertain at your next event (an eco chic wedding comes to mind!)

Oh I really like this! SOmetimes you just want to use nice silverware and dinnerware with guests, but the clean up can be a hassle I like

Love that dinnerware, and the fact that it’s eco-friendly. I purchased reusable sturdy plastic plates for my friend’s bachelorette party this weekend, and had intended to reuse them, but one of the girls tossed them in the trash. Sigh. I cringe thinking about all that plastic wasted on a one-time thing. This would have been a great alternative!
