Gotta love a skirt that’s easy to wear and has full coverage (no worries about exposing too much leg!) I love maxi skirts because they are such versatile pieces – it adds a refined air to even a more casual cut. Maxi skirts get extra points if it can easily become a dress (I have one from Charlotte Solicki and it’s awesome). I’d definitely consider maxi skirts wardrobe staples because they are relatively season-less and are transforming into classic as opposed to trendy pieces of apparel.Here are some of my favorite maxi skirts:

Beautiful! I love long light-weight dresses in the summer. I saw a really pretty one in InStyle a couple of months ago. It was a blue, patterned Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger. Unfortunately, like all good things in magazines…it has disappeared. Really love the selection you have here though!

I am just loving all the new maxi skirts – I have one but it is a little dressier so I don’t feel I can just wear it around. I think I need one more like the gray Splendid example!!

Great choices! I just started wearing maxi dresses last year. I always thought I was too short to pull off the look, but the addition of wedge heels works wonderfully.
