Beauty Product Review: Benefit Benetint

September 21, 2011
I love having a natural (looking) blush on my face.  If I didn’t have a pink glow, I’d just be stuck with my natural “does that girl ever get out?” paleness.  I tried a few blushes (power, cream, liquid) and like Benefit Benetint because it is super light, easy to use, fragrant (just a hint of roses) and provides double duty as a lip tint as well.  I like to use a few drops of Benetint on my lips after putting on lip balm for a natural, subtle color.  Then I place three drops on each cheek and rub it in.
Subtle makeup in 30 seconds?  I’m sold.Benefit isn’t super cheap but is worth the cost for me.  I can use it all year round for a great color and it feels nice and light.  But it only lasts a few hours so be mindful of this if you use it (this is fine for me).  Use your department store gift cards to get Benetint or wait for the Sephora Friends and Family sale (hmm probably coming up in November!)

I’m a big benefit fan. I had one of their under eye cover up things and it was brilliant!

Great review! I’ve used benetint off and on, but haven’t really been lately. I still have some, though, so I suppose I could always give it a shot again!

Love it, and still a little distraught my entire bottle spilled when I moved. Just need to save up for a new one!

Benetint is one of those secret wonders. I used to use it, totally forgotten about it and now reminded:)

I’ve never tried this product, but am a huge fan of Benefit’s High Beam, which comes in a similar bottle. I’m always looking for a great, natural-looking tint for my cheeks, so I’ll have to keep this in mind!

I have this, not super in love with it but still wear it often – probably bc i am the worst at doing make-up and am not sure how to do it! LOL

I haven’t tried this one yet, but I tried the Benetint Lip Balm and really liked it.

I can’t help but giggle a little when I see this. The original owners wanted it for dancers’ nipples to make them look more pink!

I used to use this but after going chemical-free, I’ll admit I haven’t found a blush that works as stellar as this. Great review!

I’ve always wanted to try this! I keep hoping for a good Sephora coupon or something so I’ll have an excuse to get it or the High Beam.

A cult classic that makes the list of best beauty products so often

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this stuff. I have the high beam and it seriously lasts forever, so I bet this is worth the money.

  • A Heel in Mint September 22, 2011 at 02:38

I love benetint too. Totally agree with the post. 🙂

  • Meri September 22, 2011 at 02:43

I have that stuff- it last for forEVER- I’ve had it years!

  • Shia September 22, 2011 at 15:08

I love this stuff! I currently use Poisetint which is pinker…I’ve had the same bottle for about two years! It lasts forever! I put some on my nieces lips and she backed away and said…isn’t that nail polish…too cute.

Hmmm a liquid form blush..sounds interesting. I’ll have to check it out, benefit products in the past have been a toss up for me. The shelac is quite good in terms of sealing on eye makeup but the high beam was not exactly the best product….

  • Karina September 22, 2011 at 17:00

Oh I love this and have to try it like soon! I’m not a big makeup girl< except for some blush from sephora and mascara I rarely use it, but this - I'm just loving the whole natural looking idea 🙂

  • Elle Sees September 22, 2011 at 19:29

I had the half tint half gloss stick, so that was much cheaper.
