Who says that fall and winter colors should remain neutral?  I know that friends in most parts of the world (North of the Equator) are experiencing cooler weather now.  Even we have been experiencing more rain and wind leading to slightly lower temperatures.  
But I don’t think that means the brighter colors in our wardrobe should disappear.  I have a favorite pink Banana Republic coat with the loveliest floral lining that I adore wearing in gray weather.  I think I wear the color purposely to defy the bleakness of the weather and shorter days.  Color in my wardrobe definitely elevates my mood as well.

    it’s so freaking cold here right now, it totally shifted from 30 to 10 degrees… I don’t have a colorful coat but I do have lots of colored sweaters, cardigans & scarves, that’s my way;)
    Though, I’d love me a bold coat too;)

    I love that first coat! The bright blue is so cheery! My winter coats are often bright colors- otherwise it just gets so dull! Especially if you live in a place with a lot of snow, all white, allllll the time. A punch of color should be mandatory. 🙂

    That first cobalt jacket is gorgeous!! Have to say I stick with basics in fall/winter and liven up with jewelry or the occasional sparkly top. For some reason I’m ixnay the bright colors in winter. Perhaps I’m hibernating.

    I love the idea of incorporating bright colors into a winter wardrobe. When it’s cold outside, it’s so easy to grab anything black or gray. I’ll definitely try to brighten things up this winter!
