{Fashion} Highlight: H&M Conscious Collection

November 3, 2011
I’m not exactly a tree-hugger, but I am increasingly becoming more conscious about my actions and purchases as a consumer.  I never thought I’d own a bamboo cardigan, but love my multi-colored one by Stacia.  I also feel a little more responsible when I purchase something that comes from sustainable materials (because at least I can feel good about where the materials came from!)  But let’s be honest, the higher price of some eco friendly clothing is a bit more than what we would normally feel comfortable paying for clothing; I bought my Stacia cardigan only because it was more than 50% off at ideeli.  H&M typically has great price points and uses organic cotton, and recycled wool in its Conscious collection in stores now.

I am kind loving the beige dress which was of course sold out in my size.  But if you’re in an H&M, definitely feel free to stop by the store and check out apparel that is both safe for your wallet as well as the environment.

Here are a few favorite picks:

Lace dress, $79.95
