Fun Finds/Decor Thoughts: Transforming Ordinary bottles into lace vases via Milk Design

November 2, 2011
Can you do anything with old bottles or jars?  If you have the silicone lace sleeve from Milk Design Studios, you can transform them into modern and elegant vases.  I love that they come in both black and white and at $14.50 are reasonably priced and chic!  I see a few coming into my life pretty soon for hostess gifts, housewarming gifts, or holiday gifts.  It would be fun decor for a picnic or wedding as well.
I think it’s always good to have extra gifts at home (am I the only one like this?)

This is a great idea for hostess gifts. Growing up, my mom had an entire hall closet devoted to storing extra gifts for “emergencies.” I’d love to do that if I had the space. Now I store wine bags to dress up bottles that we end up grabbing from our own collection when we have a last-minute event to attend.
