I wish I was more athletic, but I’m no Mia Hamm. I did gymnastics camp for maybe one summer and went to a few random classes at the YMCA, but I never actively participated in sports when I was a kid. I got involved in athletics a bit later in life (e.g. my first real tennis lessons were in college) so I never got great at any sport, particularly if it involved hand-eye coordination (umm so I am still not great at tennis though I can swim pretty well because it is a no contact sport!)
I would love to go see the Olympics this summer and witness a few amazing athletic feats as I cheer on Team USA. But, I’ll have to resign to watching it on TV. I am really awed at Olympic level athletes. They put their bodies to the test every single day and hone their skills and bodies so that they can attempt to be the best in the world. I’ll have to settle with being a fashionable athlete like in the Tim Walker pictures above but definitely find inspiration to be dedicated and passionate about things I love too (maybe not tennis, but perhaps photography which is definitely a new passion!)

I so wish I was more athletic! And after a week on vacation, I definitely need to log some hours in the gym this week.

I really wish that I was more athletic, too. I was on the swim team in high school and still enjoy the water, but I never excelled at the sport. If only real exercise were as glamorous as the photos you posted!
I will never be more athletic, however I wouldn’t mind being in a photoshoot like this one!

So funny, I used to do gymnastics when I was younger as well. I was also on the volleyball team, but I’m no athlete. Would love to see the Olympics in London this year too!
