Get ready for summer!

While I may spend most of my time in a country with eternal summer, there is still something about the coming of June that marks summer for me. Even here, summer is the promise of warmer weather, longer days, and inevitable days grilling.
Summer is also the time for vacations. Have you ever noticed how August is just the time to take vacation (especially for European colleagues). I’m planning my summer vacations already (our anniversary is in the summer after all!) and am wondering if we will do a beachy vacation or a more culturally rich one (the husband usually likes the lazy promises of a beach vacation, but that just isn’t me!)

Growing up, summer was my favorite time of year. Now that I don’t get three months off anymore and it’s foggy and cold here from June through August, fall is my favorite time of year. Though maybe I should be planning a vacation as well to beat the summer doldrums. I’m sure you can find a vacation spot that will meet both of your needs (beach and culture). Have fun planning!

I haven’t gone on vacation in a few years so I can’t even tell you where I’d like to go first! Definitely a beach but I love site seeing as well 🙂 decision decisions.
Summer is definitely my favorite time of year! I can’t wait to start heading to the pool and planning trips.
