Otherwise this weekend I am…

…joining a few friends for a hotpot dinner at their apartment.  It may seem odd to have hotpot/shabu shabu/fondue when it is so hot outside, but  my advice is just to duck in quickly to cook your food and grab it in a few seconds (i.e. don’t keep your face in the steam!)  I otherwise like hotpot because it is pretty healthy – you can dip meat, vegetables in a broth and quickly eat the results without any added oil.  Who doesn’t like instant, tasty  results right?
