Be yourself, together – product combinations for unique couples via #TargetWeddings

September 10, 2013

#spon: I’m am part of the Target Influencer Network. I have been compensated with a product from Target, but I have created this content without any further editorial input from Target.

Do you and your partner share similar interests?

Or do you have completely different hobbies?

My husband and I can do a few activities together – attend Pilates class, sit back and enjoy a good TV show, and savor good food.

But we definitely diverge in our other interests.  I am an active traveler and have to completely see, eat, and experience a new destination.  I get a little antsy if we go a month or two without jetting off somewhere.  My husband didn’t travel as much before he met me.  He travels a lot more now, obviously, but he much prefers to simply walk the streets of a city or sit on the beach and relax. But his all time favorite past time is definitely taking an epic nap during the weekends – he loves to curl up in bed or on the sofa, tinker with his gadgets or read, and drift off into those epic naps.

Many couples seem to be like us – they may share some interests, but otherwise like different activities.  This is the theme of #TargetWeddings – it is about being yourself, together with your partner.  The luggage set definitely represents my wanderlust while the Nate Berkus duvet captures his love for staying home, comfortably.

How do you and your partner’s interests differ?

My husband and I have similar and different likes and activities. So, we work. I think it’s good to have things you can enjoy doing together, but also some things you can do apart and enjoy as then you always have something to talk about :))) Hope your day is grand doll xx

This is really nice. Love that luggage set. I don’t have a partner 🙁 But if I did I would try some of his activities and hopefully mine. Great post.

Kim, you are the sweetest, loveliest person inside and out. I can only hope your future guy is super sweet and good to you too!

I would love to be more of a traveler like you, but I’m really more like your husband.
I guess I need to meet a man who can complimented me the way you do your husband.

Lydia, you’re an awesome lady and the future guy is out there. It definitely helps to find someone who can compromise and take part in some of your activities. Hopefully your guy is a good photographer then!

You could say we are like night and day, but in the end when at dawn and sunset we meet we are as happy as ever 🙂
