DIY: Sequined clutch

September 13, 2012

I do love sparkles and sequins.

While sparkles are a New Year’s Eve and wedding staple, they are appropriate for any day you want to shine.  If you aren’t brave enough to put on a sparkling ensemble, why not try out a shimmering accessory? This DIY sequin clutch from Style Me Pretty  is gorgeous and so easy to make!

I’m actually now thinking of remaking a purse into a sequin purse (love the shape and style, but didn’t love the color anymore.  Ahh the things a little bit of sparkle can do!

I’m thinking of featuring cool DIYs from around the web – any requests for what I should find?  Yes I will remember to post a few more I’ve done as well!

Such a fun DIY! I love everything on SMP, and it was such a great source of wedding inspiration. I also love glitz and glam, so this clutch is right up my alley!

I’m so not a DIYer but this looks like something I could handle. And the payoff is well worth it 🙂 xoxo

    This looks cute.
I have a huge excel spreadsheet I’ve worked on for years that has different foods, vitamins, and what they do. I also keep recipes for my DIY beauty. Some were passed down to me and others I scribbled on paper and have used for years. This was before I was a blogger of course. And some I just make up through trial and error. My late great granny survived the great depression, so she always shared her knowledge with us.

ooo i heart this diy! a sequin clutch has been on my ‘must buy’ list for a while, but a diy would be much more economical 😉
