My favorite seasons are spring and fall for very similar reasons. I love the transition in the air, weather, and foliage as the season becomes either warmer or cooler. I also love the change in people’s moods and activities as they take part in activities that really represent the season (I still have very fond memories of apple picking as a child and even fonder memories of apple cider donuts in the farmer’s market at Union Square). The new flowers of spring are also similar to the new colors of the leaves in the fall – both are beautiful and colorful.
I just booked a trip back to NYC and even though I won’t leave until the end of fall, i am looking forward to bundling up and taking brisk walks in the cool weather. This photo shoot reminds me of how beautiful Central Park would be in the spring or fall as well.

My favourites are the same and for the same reasons too. They are just magical times, I think. Something that’s missing for me in summer and winter, although, I do enjoy winter nights, the air and atmosphere outside at night is fantastic. These photos are amazing. The fall is my favorite season for so many reasons. I tried to make pumpkin soup last night but it’s a bit too early here for pumpkin season. Looks like I’ll need to wait a few more weeks 🙂

It makes me sad when I see NYC in the Fall – it’s simply the best time to be there!
I love NYC in the fall! This is the best time of year for weather in DC, too, and we are definitely enjoying it all we can.

I love Fall as well but it really got cold fast in Chicago this year. The heater is now running in my condo complex… I am excited for your trip to NYC late fall.

I love the fall, but I hate the winter. I just get so depressed in the winter. Sigh. I wish fall was every season. I love drinking hot chai, taking walks in the chilly weather, bundled up in cashmere shawls, and apple picking. Fall is a perfect season.
