Decor Thoughts: Nate Berkus for Target

October 24, 2012

â€œtelling a story in your home starts with things that have meaning to you.”

— Nate Berkus

The easy part to building a home with meaningful objects is assembling pictures that have meaning – pictures of loved ones and special moments.  The harder part is gathering individual pieces of decor that really represent your style.

Are you filled with wanderlust and collect objects along the way?  Are you an artist at night, but a lawyer in the daytime thus possessing objects that represent both sides?

It takes time to find and gather the pieces, but at least many designers, like Nate Berkus in his collection for Target, are making functional pieces for the home that may appeal to these design senses.  Decor is not always affordable so it is great to find a few more wallet friendly options.  I like the use of patterns and am loving the variety of trays and buckets.  Nothing here is too edgy, but that also makes them a bit more suited to a variety of tastes.

A foil printed pillow or two may just be beside my favorite photos in my home.

Here are a few other favorites:

1. Foil print decorative pillow, $24.99

2. White decorative figurine collection, $14.99

3. Multicolored circular bucket, $22.99

4. Monterrey print decorative pillow, $24.99

5. Decorative bucket gold rectangle, $24.99

6. Earth natural frame, $9.99

7. Nate Berkus Organizer trays, $22.99

We are total twins…I was doing a post about the same exact topic right now. Did you see the antler lamp stand?

Great minds think alike! I didn’t see the antler lamp stand but have been looking for these types of figurines forever! I just don’t know what to type in to search for them. Are they gazelles?
