You may have heard me mention Uniqlo previously (they make such wonderful basics, even cashmere sweaters, at great price points). You could only purchase Uniqlo pieces through their stores (do stop by if you are ever near one because they can have wonderful store displays and it is always great to feel the fabric in person). But now you no longer need to trek down to a physical store because the Uniqlo US online store is now open for business! Hopefully its online store will open in other regions as well soon!
The online store offers a dizzying array of options; e.g., the cashmere v-neck (I own and love this in magenta) comes in 25 colors online and beats out the in-store selection! They have also done collaborations with designers including Jil Sander, Velvet (I have a striped dress for the beach), and Orla Kiely. I am definitely checking out the Orla Kiely dresses next month and they are only $19.90-$29.90!

…off to my friend’s house for a wonderful homemade meal. He is Spanish and does a few traditional dishes oh so well. He promised us paella and perhaps some jamon iberico. Yum! Hand me a cool sangria and a fork please! I’ll of course contribute and bring a salad and some sweets.

There is a Uniqlo that just opened one block from my work and I haven’t been. Shame on me! Have fun at dinner – paella and sangria is one of my favorite meals 🙂
