FFF – ASOS Discount, OpenSky Sign-up Bonus, and Giving Back

November 2, 2012

Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

Online discounts

Now is a great time to join OpenSky because the sign up offer for new members is a $20 credit and free shipping in the US in the first week.  This is a much better offer than when I first signed up (sigh and no one I knew won those Loubotins!)  Here is my invite if you’d like to sign up.  I do get referral points, but I also really wanted to highlight this generous registration offer.

Opensky tends to send a lot of e-mails, so turn off the emails if you don’t like getting frequent notifications.

Here are some options for less than $20 after the credit (gotta love great items at a major discount):

My husband has wanted a pitcher or decanter that can hold ice that in a separate section.  I like this option for holding cold water or lemonade.

$5 after signup

I am always looking for trays (they are so useful for organizing a home) and have my eye on this faux alligator tray.  I’m leaning towards black, though white may be nice as well. A similar and slightly larger tray at Z Gallerie is slightly more at $39.95.

$12 after signup

Save!

– The highest cashback site is Big Crumbs.  Go to Big Crumbs, then click over to Opensky and get 10.5% cash back on your entire purchase!  Here is my invite if you’d like to use it.

ASOS is a good option to check out whether you’re shopping for yourself or loved ones for the upcoming holidays.  I am thinking about finally trying on a peplum piece and saw this striped peplum dress.  Is it too cutesy or just right??

Get 15% off sale items with code SURPRISE15 through Sunday. Nov. 4, 8 am CST.

Save!

– The highest cash back rate is Ebates at 3.5%.  Go to Ebates first and get cashback for your entire purchase.  Here is my invitation if you’d like it.

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…doing some volunteer work with a few kids who come from low income families.  I definitely grew up watching my parents save, work incredibly hard, and make good decisions to put all of us in a better place financially. I appreciate the value of money and hope I can teach some tips and tricks.

I also want to extend my thoughts to my hometown of NYC.  As you know, many parts of the NE US are still battered with no power, transportation, and barely functioning infrastructure.  If you could volunteer time or money, please visit http://salvationarmyusa.org http://redcross.org, http://aidmatrixnetwork.org, and http://humanesociety.org

What are you doing this weekend?

Have a fabulous weekend!
