If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, crystals should be a girl’s best accessory.
I only have a few pieces of clothing accessorized with crystals (a favorite fabulous tunic is one) but would love to own a pair of crystal embellished shoes. If Cinderella could have chosen between glass slipper and stilettos with Swarovski crystals – well, is there much of a choice?
Swarovski has always designed beautiful crystal pieces and kindly sent me a bracelet (they have great modern pieces now) when they asked me to review the Swarovski Elements app. I begrudgingly (begrudgingly because I didn’t think I needed another gadget!) love surfing on the iPad and a few brands have done some pretty cool jobs at creating apps that also tell a story about the brand.
This guide depicts beautiful pieces like these Nicholas Kirkwood heels using Swarovski crystals (drool…) and highlights people and parties as well. Ahh the fabulous lifestyle…with crystals.
Otherwise this weekend, I am…
…going to Tulum, Mexico for a good friend’s wedding. They will be having a Hindu ceremony on the beach and it should be quite spectacular. I am also so excited to see good friends from grad school and scarf down an authentic quesadilla or two.
