How do you escape from it all?
When I want to get away from the mundane, but necessary duties of every day life, I love to read (I’m reading “The Game of Thrones” series now) or look through beautiful pictures (it is SO much easier with Pinterest, find me there). Tim Walker’s pictures have always fascinated me because they present such a fanstastical, surreal version of high fashion. There is also a beautiful touch of whimsy in many of his pictures.
While we may not be able to make all of our fantasies a reality, we can certainly sit back, be inspired by the whimsy, and simply enjoy the escape to another place.

That last dress is gorgeous! Lately I haven’t been so good at escaping it all, but I’m always trying to find new ways to relax and clear my mind. Pinterest is amazing for that!

Tim Walker’s photos are quite the perfect visual escape! That first image is one fo my faves. I love flipping through his “Pictures’ book every so often whenever I need some inspiration and eye candy 🙂

I was going to say that first photo is amazing, but then I saw all the other photos and they’re all amazing. Are you loving the Game of Thrones books? I got halfway through book 1 and it was great, but I’m so into the show that I can’t stop watching it.

Yes the books are easy to read and obviously have more character development. Our friend turned us onto the “Game of Thrones” show and it is INSANE. Wait until you watch all of season 2. I always have to know what happens so I know the crazy stuff they are doing next season. It will be pretty phenomenal!
