What do you think contributes to one’s sensuality?
Of course there are the overt examples of sensuality such as a low cut blouse, a high slit in a skirt, or a skintight sheath. But sensuality can also be imagined as a set of come hither eyes or a full set of pouty, red lips. There is just something about a look that can make it simply sensual.
I also feel particularly sensual when I have on a set of sky high heels, a great fitted dress, and bright red lipstick (my go to shades are Chanel Gabrielle or Revlon Certainly Red). While the outfit certainly adds to the allure, I also feel like it is the confidence and the sense of contentment I now possess. Even when I am wearing something fabulous and have on impeccable makeup, my husband said that I sometimes still shrink back and it makes me look awkward. I have been working on that and realize I feel really sensual when I am very content and present – present in my environment, feeling good in my skin, and living in the moment.
We may not all look like Jennifer Lawrence, but we can certainly feel as sensual as she looks!

Attitude is important to me: The perfect balance between sweetness and confidence, vulnerabiliy and assertiveness, mistery and naturality…As for the exterior, a nice perfume, good make up -enhancing your best feature, be the lips, the eyes…-and any outfit that makes you feel gorgeous. She looks so stunning…love all of these photos. I thinks ensuality is being confident in one’s skin…wearing your favourite attire, perfume, flowers, not altogether what you wear, but how you wear it and how you carry yourself. Intelligence is most sensual. Nothing worse than someone attractive, but as soon as they open their mouth, they have nothing intelligent to say…it’s boring. love this post! i totally agree.. i’m actually amazed at how sensual jennifer looks. i always feel fabulous w/ super sky high heels on!! but sometimes i think i’m awkward ahahahahah.
Jennifer Lawrence is so incredibly beautiful. I can’t get over how glowing her skin is. I could stare at her all day!
I agree that it’s about the confidence. Having on a pretty outfit & well-done hair certainly helps, but it’s truly FEELING beautiful that radiates outward, I think.
I think sensuality can mean different things to different people. It’s in the eye of the beholder.
I think I need to work on that too. jennifer does look really beautiful in the post, I also think a rose pink glossy lip adds to sensuality, I prefer subtle hints of it over low cuts and high hemlines.
Well the Altuzarra glasses arrived and for $15 I cannot complain…for up to $20 it would have been a fair price but nothing more. Jennifer Lawrence always looks nothing short of perfect.
