Beauty Product Review: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure (in Get Juiced and Wedding Glitters) and a guest post

May 15, 2013

I’m always intrigued when a product claims to perform multiple functions – the fewer products the better right? I love Sally Hansen Double Duty (reviewed here) and occasionally wear it as a standalone clear nail polish on those days when I just can’t get around to a full manicure.  So I was intrigued when I heard the buzz about the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure product.  It is supposed to be a base coat, nail polish, and top coat all in one bottle!

I absolutely loved the colors I got.  Get Juiced is like a rich, almost neon rosy, flamingo pink.  It is one of my favorite shades at the moment and would be a flattering, bright (but not too bright) shade on many skin tones.  Wedding Glitters is a fun microglitter gold, metallic shade and as you can imagine would be great for a big event like a wedding or party.

Both colors went on and dried well.  Unfortunately, the nail polish shipped within a few days so I would wear a top coat as well.  Even though it wasn’t a complete manicure in a bottle, the line comes in many beautiful shades that go on smoothly.  The Complete Manicure line may not be perfect, but it can be pretty.

    I LOVE Get Juiced!

I had the same problem with the Complete Salon Manicure line – the polish chipped within a few days. Nevertheless, the color range is still beautiful, so I continue to purchase colors from the line – and wear them with additional top coat! 🙂

SO it’s not just me! I agree thought that the color range is still great and I now wear it with top coat!

Both colors are really beautiful! I haven’t tried Sally Hansen in awhile. They always come out with a fabulous array of colors. It’s unfortunate about it’s durability. I’ve gotten so where I want my nail polish to at least last a week! hahaha Nail snob! HaHaHa Wishing you a great day! 🙂

One of my favorite polishes is Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in Kook-a-Mango. I’ll need to try Get Juiced as well. It’s a beautiful color!

I’ve never found a complete manicure to actually hold up for more than a day or two. somethings just work better separated, like shampoo and conditioner.

    • Chic 'n Cheap Living May 16, 2013 at 08:37

Lydia, so true – some things really are just better separated (like nail polish and top coat!)
