Shopping Finds

My bathing suits are in a bit of a sad state.  My favorite one is visibly faded and another favorite one is just a little too loose now (always a dangerous thing!)  I’ve been stalking Ete bikinis for a while – they make really beautiful and well constructed swimsuits.  The cuts are flattering and I just love the delicate bow in front.  I’m still not thrilled about the prices so I’m waiting for them to go on sale.

Since I was on Target already looking at a few items, I hopped on to their swim suit selection and was pleasantly surprised.  They have made swimsuits in very fun prints.  Check out my tips here to see which swim suits work for your body type.

Not all pieces are made equally so look for details that are important to you like removable padding, boning, and removable ties. I’m not sure how well made they are, but I have a feeling that they would last a few summers (any swim suit that lasts any longer is truly special!)

Otherwise this weekend, I am…

…trying out a Korean place in town.  I have had decent Korean food here, but have been looking for a really good place – you know, one of those restaurants that become part of your regular restaurant list. I found this place after a random web search and  I heard lots of Korean being spoken when I made my reservation so I’m hopeful the food will be authentic and tasty!  Mmm, I love food quests!

What are you doing this weekend?

Have a fabulous weekend!

Gorgeous suits. I admit, I really need a new one too. I’ve not worn a suit since my oldest was a baby, so it’s time to sort out a new one. Would love a vintage style one. These are lovely doll, I hope you have a great weekend xx

I definitely see you in a vintager style swimsuit! I came across a company the other day with some cute vintage styles. I forgot the brand name, but will send it to you when I find it again!

I love Target bikinis – they’re affordable and so cute. Not to mention that a ton of them from this season were featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue – always a good thing. 🙂

Wow, I didn’t realize Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue also had Target bikinis! I guess I’m not the only one that discovered that the Target swimsuits are cute!

Chevron! I would snatch that up but Jrs suits do not offer me nearly enough coverage or support. Swimsuit shopping is always quite the challenge!

Target sells the cutest things! These are so pretty! Plus, they don’t break the bank. Some swimwear can be outrageously expensive. hahaha Have a great time this weekend. Enjoy the food 😀

I like these cute retro styles, the first navy blue nautical inspired one is really sweet. And the gingham one reminds me of the fifties style icons. Enjoy the weekend, please let us know about the Korean place, I would like to learn more about the cuisine.
