What roles do you play in your daily life?
Are you a teacher?
Are you a confidante?
Are you a caregiver?
I would say that I happily play all of these roles to different people. I’m glad to be a multi-tasker and someone who can wear many different hats. I actually think it would be limiting if we were singular in the our role in the world. As we grow and evolve as people, we learn from our own experiences and start to adapt the new roles. The listener may become the counselor as the patient may also become the caregiver.
I’m also starting to seriously think about playing a new role as a mother (if everything holds up health wise!) It may be the ultimate role, but one I may finally be ready to take on…that and I’m not getting any younger! But whether or not I become a mother, I will still proudly hold my current roles and perhaps continue to add more along the way.

I have so many hats, I am my own mad hatter 😉 You must especially when you’re a mother. Many don’t realise how much parents actually have to do.
