I never though I would be a colored denim lover. I thought it was a trend and didn’t want to invest in a bright pair that would feel obsolete next season. I have also always loved the classic, dark wash of flared (now skinny) jeans. It matches everything right so why would I mess with it? …getting together with some friends old and new for a spicy Szechuan meal. It’s funny because for some reason, when I see these friends, we seem to have this spicy food a lot. There is something about the “ma la” numbing spicy taste of the cuisine that makes it so addictive! My husband is also trying to convince me to see a cheesy movie, but we will see if I succumb to watching robots and aliens fight.

40% is off is awesome!!! I love colored denim. It’s a great way to spice up a casual outfit. I’m also loving the printed denim. They’re really expanding on this trend that I feel is here to stay. HAHAHA White denim always looks good.
I’ve always been a dark denim skinny jean kind of girl, but I do like a lot of the colorful pairs these days. Enjoy your weekend of spicy food and cheesy movies. The hubs told me that Pacific Rim was pretty decent actually.

I bailed out on seeing Pacific Rim but my hubby liked it. Did you go? I actually really like the coloured jeans but find you have to think more about what you wear with them eg my pink jeans look ridiculous with a simmilar shade pink top, but with a black top I think they look great. I like the prints that are not too loud and busy. Hope you had fun with your friends 😀

I bailed on my husband too! He was perfectly fine seeing it himself and enjoyed it. I preferred going to Pilates class.
I agree that colored denim needs to be paired well with other colors or else it looks very bright!
