India Song photography

I have always followed the Golden Rule – I treat others the way I would like to be treated.

I always had an issue with someone who would treat one person, like his significant other, well, but then treat others disrespectfully.  Doesn’t everyone (until proven obnoxious) deserve our respect?

The same should apply to how people treat animals.  It breaks my heart when I read horror stories about animals being penned up, malnourished, and left in poor health because their owners don’t bother to take care of them. This series of photos reminded me of how truly beautiful animals are as well. Don’t they deserve to be treated as well?  After all, the way we treat others is a reflection of how we want to be treated and how we interact with others.  I can only hope that I continue to treat everyone – people and animals – as well as possible.

Have a lovely week!

I don’t get it either! I don’t know why people act the way they do or do the things that they do. It’s incomprehensible to me. To inflict pain on any living thing is immoral. How would they like someone to do that to them? Beautiful post!

    Beautiful post!

I could not agree more – nothing bothers me more than stories of animal abuse. I also hate it when a wild animal in captivity lashes out and kills a person and so they in turn kill the animal. I can’t understand why a wild animal should be punished for being a wild animal. The humans who decided to capture it and make it perform are the ones in the wrong.

Oh man, these are amazing. I love how the rooms are color coordinated with the animal. So much to look at.

Wow, i went over these images a few times, each one had so many interesting elements in them, it begged to be studied. I personally love the image with the peacock and the one after after, both are serene. I am all for anti-cruelty for animals, thats why I never ever wear leather or anything made from the species.

We really need to treat all creations with love and tenderness. We are all deserving of it. And those that don’t need to be put away. Adore all of these animals…the peacock is so beautiful!! I hope you have a wonderful week doll xx

I agree with you on animal abuse. We are all vegetarians in our house and I am a vegan. I believe in treating people the way I like to be treated but I feel that never works. I think we live in a crazy self-obessed world today. The first pic is gorgeous. I love the chalk clay paint effect. The color is gorgeous too 🙂

Unfortunately, I think you are right sometimes – people may take advantage of being treated well, but not display that behavior themselves. But we can still control our own actions right? These animal picture are quite lovely aren’t they?

I love animals {I mean who doesn’t} and this is just a beautiful post. It breaks my heart to know that they are mistreated.

I try to live by that rule too! These images are wonderful! Animal abuse stories are just heartbreaking and incomprehensible to me as well.
