The French Riviera, blue glazed Moroccan tiles, and flower petal edges are all inspirations in Paola Navone’s collection for Crate & Barrel.
I hadn’t heard of Paola Navone previously, but l loved all the visual elements that influenced her decor collection. Paola Navone is an architect, designer, interior decorator, art director, and industrial planner (wow, talk about creative!) I really like the splashes of blue color in the Como, the delicate edges in the Mallorca, and the playful, vibrant energy of the Riviera (which is supposed to exude the vibe of the 1950s French Riviera). I like the almost retro air of the collection and most pieces are affordably priced. I really love some of the furniture as well – the legs on the Mallorca square marble dining table are gorgeous though it’s still a little pricey. I’m always patient though so I can wait for a good sale!

I have been loving those plates every time I see them and the legs on that woven chair are so gorgeous, I might have to lift my chair moratorium and get some! {I have way too many chairs, I’m always buying them and my garage is overflowing with them haha}.

I only learned of Paola Navone through this collab as well. The collection is beautifully designed. Those mini bowls from the Mallora collection are so cute! I may have to pick some up.

The blue and white dishes are of course right up my alley, and while I love the color of the riviera chair, it seems kind of… boxy?
I’m definitely more enamored with the color of the Riviera chair. The shape is a little boxy but could balance out a round table perhaps?
