I may not know what my future home will look like, but I do know one thing: it will be filled with at least one tufted piece of furniture. Tufted furniture is a look of gathered clusters on an upholstery that is achieved when upholsterers bunch layers of fabric in a pattern finally topping off the intersections with a button or knot. It is very much a vintage look, but also one that is timeless and elegant. I love the look on a headboard or sofa, but also increasingly see it on benches as well. 
Though the look tends to be reminiscent of an older style of design, I like that it is now interpreted in colors and frames that make it modern as well. Here are a few of my favorite tufted loves:

Hi Oliver, thanks for your comment. The gray chenille fabric tufted bed is from French bedroom company (frenchbedroomcompany.co.uk). I’m not sure if it is still in stock, but they do have similar styles as well. Good luck finding it and have a lovely weekend!
