“We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another.”

In Style

How have you grown and changed over the years?

I look at these pictures of Drew Barrymore in this In Style shoot and see a calm, confident and elegant woman.  Yet, I can also still remember the wild, young thing that flashed David Letterman and had a fast-lane Hollywood childhood.  As we can all see, she has certainly evolved and matured over the years.  She is a wife, a mother, spokesmodel, and a business woman with her own production company.  Yet I can still see the easiness and bohemian vibe in her demeanor.  It was no surprise to me that her makeup line is called “Flower”.  She has definitely grown in some areas, while maintaining her opinions in other areas.

I’d like to think that we have all grown and evolved over the years (e.g. I’m much more patient these days) but still cling to some vestiges of our youth too (I’ll always love dishes from my childhood, like mom’s sticky rice!)

Have a lovely week!

She’s always been one of my favourite ladies ever!! Since ET, she’s amazing. I’ve loved that she has gone through rough times, but has brought herself round and shown you can do it. Am really happy that she has her family now and stability, she’s needed that for so long & real happiness to. I have a friend that looks so much like her, it’s scary. I’m quite grown up now, but there will always be a child inside that loves silly things. And I think that’s the best way to be. I love sticky rice, haha. Addicted!! I hope you have a gorgeous New Year doll…may it be a wonderful and happy one for you!!

She is so beautiful, its amazing to see how a person changes over the years and it’s amazing to think that you can change so drastically.

I’ve always loved Drew, no matter what phase she was going through. She still has FUN in her, which I like. This photo shoot of her is absolutely beautiful! No, let me change that to stunning. I’ve grown in some aspects. So much more that I want to do. Hopefully I will achieve it God willing.
