Beauty Product Review: Mary Jo Matsumoto 4FREE Naked State of Mind Nail Polish

January 16, 2014

It is always nice to know a friend that has a cool job or talent.

I know a few friends that work in a luxurious resort and have rubbed elbows with celebrities and attended fabulous launch parties.  I also once knew a director at a major fashion house in London and it was fabulous meeting her at exclusive little restaurants and hearing stories about fashion editors.  I’ve also met friends like Mary Jo, who seems to have multi-faceted talents in the creative space.  She is an editor, fashion designer, and beauty creator as well.

I wanted to try Mary Jo’s 4FREE nail polishes for a while – this means that the nail polishes do not contain formaldehyde, DBP/dibutyl phthalate, toluene or camphor. None of her products are never tested on animals as well.  I got a bottle of the pale pink Naked State of Mind and loved the delicate color.  It is a semi-opaque color that is very builds easily into a more opaque shade from the first to the second coat.  I haven’t worn it for too long, but can make an update later on the durability of the nail polish.  For now, I’m enjoying the subtle color and thinking about the possibilities with this shade!

This sounds awesome! I would love to try it and really like that the polish lacks harsh chemicals.

After using some cheap, bad quality nail laquers I’m more and more convinced that the 4 free formula is the future of nail polishes!
Ps. I’ve meant to tell you for some time that I love the new blog layout for mobiles, it’s very user friendly and captivating!

I’ve tried several of her nail lacquers in the past and they are very nice.
