All that glitters may not be gold, but wouldn’t it be prettier if it were gold?
I didn’t always love gold and associated gold with the bolder, yellowish, gaudy hue associated with 24k gold. But I really love the softer hues of a champagne gold or a gold that has bronze undertones almost making it a neutral. Something about the holidays and winter make me think of gold a bit more. Perhaps it is the sparkle needed to warm up a cool day. I’ve also started incorporating gold a lot more in my accessories and jewelry. I love a bold gold cuff as well as a dangly pair of gold and gemstone earrings. Gold fills corners of my living room room now as well from a few gold edged frames to a muted gold side table (love this touch of elegance and functionality!)

my grandmother has a love affair with gold. it’s all over her house. and in my latest video you can see her old bedroom furniture, now mine, with it’s gold accents. she also has mirrors all over her house.
Gold is such a nice color. I like wearing gold jewelry although I think I would draw the line with a gold kitchen.
I am not sure it would work in the real world— but I am officially obsessed with that kitchen in Elle Decor— could you imagine?!
