I just love browsing through Ladurée e-boutique. Not only do I get to drool at the combination of rich jams or ganaches within a richly scented macaron, I get to marvel at the lovely box designs (I love to collect the boxes and now I get to put them in my daughter’s room!) Aren’t these boxes designed by Camelia Balancoire sunny, bright, and fun? I feel a little happier by just looking at the boxes!
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…celebrating father’s day with a very proud papa and my own dad. My dad wanted to have Michelin starred dim sum again so we’re off for an early meal there. My not at all shy husband didn’t want any particular gift for the holiday and said he was just glad to have our daughter in our lives. I am happy to take time out and appreciate my dear husband. He may have 10 hour work days, but tries to help out with the little one every chance he gets. He has also been such a rock when I felt like I was coming apart at the seams. Happy Father’s Day indeed to my husband! I hope you get a chance to think about and thank the fathers and father figures in your lives too!
