Glamour Australia March 2014

Where have you traveled?

Have you ever been somewhere with a food, culture or environment that was so different from your own that you thought “Wow, this is an amazing place.”  I think I may have first thought that when I went on my first trip by myself to Spain.  I attended a summer study abroad program and was fascinated by all the different foods (paella was so different from the rice I used to have at home), art (I saw Dali’s works for the first time and fell in love), and history (I’m always fascinated by the beautiful architecture in ancient cities like Barcelona and how they reflect a style of a certain time period).

I’m not nearly done exploring yet.  There are still so many places in Asia where I’d like to travel and seeing pictures like the ones in this editorial also make me want to learn more about the native cultures of a few favorite South American countries. It’s a great big world out there and I’m only a tiny part of it, but I hope to get to see more and more of it in time.

Have a lovely week!

I love to travel and had an amazing experience when I did a tour of Europe as a teenager. It really opened my eyes to the world and how much there is to learn and see.

I love the colour palette, the lilac blouse is so stunning! Travelling definitely inflluences you, I’ve had to do it my whole life, but only started to appreciate it in my teens.

I of course share your love for travel… always ready to get out and go!

Love the photo of her sitting among the textiles and the photo of her standing in the marketplace — somehow she both stands out and fits in….

Those images are so beautifully artistic, aren’t they? I love exploring new places, different foods and cultures. It’s always so interesting to stumble upon something new that makes us go wow! Kisses, darling.

WOW these images are amazing! love the contrast of the model inserted in this different culture. It looks so much like Peru (where I”m originally from) so I’m really loving them. I love traveling too! I haven’t been able to do so because of work but I need to plan on doing it soon! thanks for sharing 🙂

I love the concept of traveling but, I have not been fortunate to travel many places yet. I would love to visit and explore more places. I realize a lot of people who travel like to visit the popular tourist spots but, I’m extremely fascinated by visiting places and explore the more local spots – including food. =)

I would have to say Thailand blew my mind. It has influenced a lot of my thinking. And let’s talk about that gorgeous lilac blouse in that shot. Wow.
