Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fall’s fast approach can’t contain the bold patterns and bright colors of Fashion Week for the Spring Summer 2o15 collection. I was pleasantly surprised by Michael Kors. He is known as the godfather of American women’s sportswear. Yet, the collection he showed was bright, light, and perfect for dining al fresco on a cool summer’s day as opposed to a busy jaunt around town. I don’t usually look through his collections, but really loved the colors and prints. I thought it was great inspiration for a few wardrobe pieces that all of us can add to our wardrobes now:
– Floral prints always add a nice touch for spring
Pink flower fit and flare, Wallis, $44
– Midi skirts are great in a print, like a checkered print
Midi skirt in check print, ASOS, $59.03
– white jackets are timeless layering pieces for spring/summer
Joie Mehira linen notch collar blazer, Neiman Marcus, $97 (from $278)
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…preparing for the arrival of my husband’s aunt. He grew up with her so she is really like a mom to him. She will be staying with us for a while and getting to know our newest addition. It will be odd to once again have more family at home since we were getting used to our little family. But it will be nice to see them get to know each other as well. Of course the babysitting is a pretty awesome benefit too (woo, date night!)
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
