Do you like dolls? Then you may just love the newest collection with Ladurée and Sonny Angel. Twelve different dolls are adorned with images from some of the bakery’s famous macaron flavors. When you buy a speciality box of 6 macarons and 6 pastries, you are presented with a mystery box that may contain a doll. I wonder what the boxes will contain if they don’t have dolls – supposedly there is a good surprise for everyone! I was almost tempted to ask my friend to bring back a box from France, but know that the pastries would have disappeared by the time it reached here!
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…saying a few goodbyes to friends moving out of the country. One set of friends just got married and are moving to the husband’s native Switzerland while another friend is going back to the bay area to reevaluate things and be close to family. It will be sad to see them go, but that’s life right? People move on, move out, get married, and start families. In the meantime, we will at least have fun with our friends while they are still around!
