What red items do you own?
I have a wonderful red flowing maxi dress that I alternately wore for a breezy destination wedding in Mexico to my own pink filled baby shower. I also have a stunning Lanvin for H&M red, metallic statement necklace (seen on my Instagram here) that has garnered me compliments every time I’ve worn it. There is just something about the color that makes me feel confident, feminine, and just plain pretty. I saw these pictures of Katy Perry in Harper’s Bazaar and was instantly smitten with the different looks in the editorial. There is a reason there isn’t a song called “Lady in navy blue”. This is a reminder to pick up an outfit or accessory in a rich shade of red.
Wear red, be bold, and feel gorgeous!

I’ve always found red to be a challenging color. In general, it doesn’t look bad on me, but I’m just not drawn to it in the same way I am other colors. The few red things I own are mostly in the form of jackets and coats.
