Here we are in the last quarter (yikes!) of 2014 and we wrap up Pantone color of the year – a lovely, rich, and radiant orchid.
This is certainly a color that speaks of tropical surroundings or thrives in bright, sunny days. But I actually love to celebrate bright colors in the cooler seasons as well. It brings a smile to my face when I see or wear a bold, fun color when I am bundled up in frigid weather.

that’s a color i’d normally say no to, but seeing it like in these examples, i’ve just fallen in love!
This year is seriously flying by so quickly! I find bright colors to be so cheerful during the colder months. Radiant orchid is a color I’d love to incorporate into my decor but since I live with my husband I’d probably find a way to wear instead.

I’m with you and would love radiant orchid in my home decor, but it is harder doing that with a male in the house! My husband has agreed to some bright colors in some rooms so I’m set though 😉

You know I did get into this color for a couple of makeup products. I was shocked, because I didn’t warm up to it at first. HaHaHa Love seeing it on different things. It makes me look at things differently.
