I’ve faced reality – New Year’s Eve is not the same once you have a baby.
I’m totally ok with that though. Nowadays, I really can’t stay up much later than 11 pm anyway (sleep is a valuable thing when you are running after a crawling baby). I do have a lovely sequined jacket hanging in the closet. But I think the only thing I’ll really need (besides my wonderful family) are nice sparkling nails. They are festive and appropriate whether I am going out or staying in. Lovely nails are always a nice and easy beauty indulgence. I’ll be attending a new year’s lunch anyway the next day so I will get to show them off soon!
Now I browsed through these sparkling shades and only have to decide – rose gold, silver or gold?

Awww, I can imagine how tired you must be chasing your crawling baby and that being home with your family is definitely a nice place to be on NYE. It’s always such a chaotic night anyway and my hubby and I just decided since it’s snowing like crazy we’re going to have a nice quiet dinner at home. This is pretty much the one time of year when I’m in big favor of glittery nail polish, and I’m going with silver myself, but these are all brilliant choices!
I love that Butter polish. They have such great colors and I love rose gold – total sucker. So festive.
