The best sales are the double whammy sales – the sale that goes on sale. I always have to take a peek when a sale is on sale and Anthropologie’s sale items are an extra 40% off now with code EXTRAEXTRA. My picks include a cardigan with a unique draping and design, bright kitchenware that looks like it belongs in a Mediterranean home, and a sequin dress…because one should always have a sequin dress (boo, it’s sold out in my size!)

Otherwise this weekend I am…
…visiting a friend who just delivered a little baby boy! Luckily mommy and baby are doing well and it will be nice to see a newborn again. We are also visiting another very pregnant friend whose mother graciously invited us all over for dinner. It is nice to finally have some friends who are joining me as moms. Now that I’m slightly more experienced in the mom game, it is also good to pass on some tips and have some buddies for the little lady.
