Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!

Fun Finds

Are you a bookworm?

I don’t read as much these days (I’m still trying to finish Ferber’s book about sleep!), but was a proud Scholastic book club member growing up.  It started with the Bernstein bears, but transitioned into the Bronte sisters over the years.  I bought and borrowed many books, but usually read them at home.  If I was in one of these libraries though, I would have stayed at the library.  Franck Bohbot captured quite a few libraries in his series “House of Books”.  These libraries just speak to my design and bookworm loving sides.  They are simply stunning spaces and ones where you really can get lost in the details!

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…preparing for a few transitions.  I am preparing to shift a few major things in my life.  I am bringing on help for the little one and learning to trust someone outside the family with her.  Yikes, but indeed necessary since we don’t family here and want to reclaim our personal time too.  I am looking into a blog redesign as well which I’ve been putting off for some time.  Finally, I am looking into career changes which could be exciting.  Wish me luck!

What are you doing this weekend?

Have a fabulous weekend!

Sounds like you have a lot of changes planned! I loved the Bernstein bears when I was little, and I can’t get enough of pictures of beautiful libraries 🙂

I’m definitely a bookworm, though, don’t spend much time in libraries (but definitely should!) These are fascinating. Also, a big good luck with the career change, I think that’s awesome! 🙂

Thank you for your kind words! Yes I don’t spend much time in libraries, but these libraries in Paris and Rome make me want to take a good book and find a corner to just read and relax!
