How comfortable are you with your age?

I’m pretty comfortable with my age.  After all any wonderful things happened to me in my 30s; I got married, I moved all over the world, and I had a beautiful daughter.  It’s funny though because I sometimes forget my age.  Seriously.  I have to actually think about it when someone asks me how old I am.  Luckily, it’s because I feel good and look pretty young.  I eat pretty well (lots of fresh produce, low carbs, and somewhat sadly now, low sugar as well) and am starting to get back to the gym (where do moms get the energy for the gym, seriously!)  Even though my mom’s side of the family has been blessed with fabulous skin, I know that it won’t last forever so I’m also starting to investigate natural moisturizers and effective serums.

I know that I won’t look the same as I did as when I was 25.  But 25 came and went and I’m happy to have it behind me.  I’m enjoying where I’m at now and am happy as long as I still have the energy to play with my family and my laugh lines have a good story behind them.

Have a lovely week!

I wish I could be as comfortable as you are with my age. I guess the past few years in my late twenties has been pretty tough (brutal actually) and they’re just reminders of what I once had and how things around me are changing. I hope to be as positive as you are though and see it all through a different light.

The late 20s can definitely be a tough age. Things are most definitely changing and sometimes they aren’t the changes we want. But I guess age comes with a somewhat serene sense of acceptance. The good times aren’t over just yet dear so prepare for more (and maybe different kinds) of fun!

Same here, I often forget about my age and to be honest, I still feel 20! Love those photos. Have a beautiful start to the week, darling.

I think I’ve gotten to the point where I’m pretty comfortable with my age as I feel way more confident and comfortable in my own skin than I ever did in my 20’s. I’m just glad I don’t look my age haha. Being Asian does have it’s benefits ;p

Haha, you’re so right – being Asian does have its benefits! I’m also much more comfortable in my own skin now too. It’s great to look good and feel good too!

I had a problem with aging in my 20’s, but now I’m so over it. LOL I just enjoy each and every day 🙂 Life is a blessing. Love this Kate Spade campaign.

That Mark Twain quote is awesome! I am comfortable with my age overall, though I sometimes feel a bit “old” now that I’m in my 30s. But life now is definitely better than during my early 20s, and I’m so lucky to have my health and (hopefully) many great years ahead of me.
