What are some of your fantasies?
I saw these photographs by Aldus Bakhtiozina and immediately thought that they had a wonderful fantastical feel about them. It got me thinking about people and the kinds of fantasies that we have. Some people have grand fantasies that can completely transform the lives of others as well. Imagine how something like a simple website used to keep in touch with friends on campus became a global social media site with over a billion users (I’m on Facebook here!) Then of course there are the former hippies that have grand visions of merging beautiful design with seamless functionality for the ultimate smartphone (admitted iPhone addict here!) I’m also touched by artists, including cartoonists that can craft the most beautiful stories with approachable cantankerous old men flying away in their homes with giant balloons (yes Up is one of my favorite cartoons!)
I have a simple fantasy of making it a little bit easier to do things in this world. I’m hoping to transition to a company that can do that soon. I’m not sure if my fantasy can transform a million realities, but if I can make a few people’s lives easier, then I’ll be happy.
