Are you a glass half empty or a glass half full kind of person?

My answer to that may actually depends on my mood.  Sometimes I think “Ehh, it’s almost empty” while other times I think “Ahh there’s so much left!”  Admittedly, I’m a bit more of a pessimist.  Practicality may sometimes become pessimism.  I don’t want to dream too big and be completely disappointed.  But, I also want to strive and aspire for different things. My perceptions may also influence my mood and I would rather be a happier than a sad or disgruntled person.

With that in mind, I saw these beautiful sunny pictures (all yellow and so fun!) and instantly felt a little lift. I also saw the quote by the great Mr. Picasso and thought that he had such a wonderful perspective.  The sun brings brightness and life to the world.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful to think that we could transform any yellow dot into the sun?

So I’m starting this week off with a bright attitude and turning every yellow spot into the beautiful and bright sun.

Have a lovely week!

I’m a firm believer in positive and daily affirmations, which helps me. Even when I have a crap day– and mood shifters like bright colours also do help. I recently rearranged my office space, which was very inspiring. <3 I love that layered skirt above!

For me, it depends on my mood as well but I’m really trying to be more of an optimist these days.
I generally stay away from sugar but I will indulge in a sweet treat every now and then and Laduree macarons are included 🙂

What a lovely post. I want to be the kind of person who always sees it as half-full but the last 2 years have made it increasingly difficult to view it so. My pessimistic side has had full reigns which sucks because I dream big and because of it and the disappointments I’ve encountered along the way I’ve let it crush me in sadness most days. Yet I dust myself off and continue forth, even if I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. It sounds more impressive in words than in reality though, as there are many a pity party prior to that pushing forth hahaha!

That’s the way I try and start each day! On the positive! LOL, but when you step out your house that’s when stuff crumbles. People are so mean nowadays. I try to be positive and even driving they get crazy. Love this editorial. Those shots are amazing! Your towels and Fresh came in today! Woo Hoo! Will mail them the beginning of next month.

I can also be an optimist or pessimist depending on my mood, but I’m trying to focus more on the good things in life. Yellow is such a fun, happy color!

Yellow tends to have a way of letting us look on the brighter side of things. I always try to look on the brighter side of things… Great post! xx
