The best clutches for spring

Spring is here which means there are so many more reasons to step outside.

There are more weddings coming up as well as al fresco lunches and impromptu picnics.  We only have one wedding in the next few months (actually we have 3 weddings at the same time but of course can only attend one at a time!)  Spring and summer events are always a good reason to bring out a clutch.  I have two gorgeous crocheted clutches but have been looking for some fun ones as well.  I may not have a ton of formal events, but at least like to use a clutch as a nice makeup bag.

The clutches that call out to me are those that come in lighter and brighter shades.  The macaron clutch is certainly a statement piece and undeniably cute.  The cross body clutch is elegant and comes in a perfect shade of blush pink.  I’m also starting to love clutches with a simple statement – “Yes” or “Oui” please!  Look for a clutch that makes sense for your purposes (day to day clutch, formal event) and will of course complement the rest of your outfit (I veer towards brighter colors so I like simpler clutches).
